Ability Grants for research degree students
![]()
UniSA has a commitment to equity and access and recognises that some
research degree students who have a
disability or long-term
medical condition, may require financial assistance to undertake their
research project.
The Ability Grant recognises that research degree students with a disability may face additional research-related costs, such as the need for specialised equipment, transport costs or other support to enable them to complete their research project. They may also have limited ability to earn additional income whilst studying.

- the likelihood of the applicant being able to complete the
research project.
