ERA Trial
In 2009 the University of South Australia took part in the ERA Trial, an assessment of cluster 1: Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences (PCE) and cluster 2: Humanities and Creative Arts (HCA). Data was submitted to the ARC in June for PCE and in August for HCA under the categories:
- Eligible research staff (as of the census date 31/03/08)
- Research outputs (journal articles, books, book chapters, refereed conference proceedings, creative works (HCA only) from 2002 to 2007 inclusive)
- Research income (HERDC category 1-4 from 2005-7 inclusive)
- Applied measures (patents, registered designs, research commercialisation income from 2005-7 inclusive).
Data on research outputs, research income and applied measures was submitted for the ERA Trial if at least one Field of Research (FOR) code within the PCE or HCA clusters was attached to the item.
