Location

The Samstag Museum is located in the Adelaide City West End. It is a 5 minute walk from most major city-based hotels as well as King William Street and Rundle Mall. The West End precinct is home to the Lion Arts Centre and a concentration of galleries and visual arts organisations. These include the Experimental Art Foundation, JamFactory Contemporary Craft and Design, Nexus Multicultural Arts Centre, Craftsouth Centre for Contemporary Craft and Design, Artlink Magazine, Media Resource Centre, Mercury Cinema, BMGART and the SASA Gallery on Hindley Street.
 
Free City Loop buses (99C, stop 7) and trams (stop City West) to the UniSA City West campus and Lion Arts Centre operate every day.

Trams operate from Victoria Square and the Entertainment Centre along North Terrace to the Samstag Museum, UniSA City West campus/Lion Arts Centre terminus (stop City West).
