School and group visits

The Samstag Museum offers free guided exhibition tours for booked groups including UniSA staff and students, secondary and tertiary students and community organisations. The Museum also offers professional development forums for educators, and to support visits and study around Museum exhibitions. Opening hours during exhibitions: Tuesday to Friday from 11am – 5pm, Saturday and Sunday from 2 – 5pm or at other times by appointment. The Samstag Museum will be closed on public holidays and during exhibition changeovers. Exhibition calendar details

Booking your group visit

All group visits to the Samstag Museum are to be booked in advance, if possible please allow 2 weeks notice when booking your visit. Introductory talks on the current exhibition and the Samstag Museum are available, and can be tailored to your specific requirements. Please discuss any requirements with staff when booking your visit.  In general, introductory gallery talks are 5 minutes. 

Schools and other groups can book visits outside normal opening hours. For further information please contact the Samstag Museum.
