Scholarships, Prizes and Awards
Student and Academic Services administers the following scholarships and grants:
- Commonwealth Scholarships
- UniSA Study Grants
- UniSA Priority Grants
- Transition Grants
All other scholarships are administered locally by schools, divisions or the research office - contact details of individual scholarships can be obtained from the scholarships website.
Scholarship recipients are not currently recorded against the student record.
New scholarships, prizes and awards must be approved by School/Division Board, then Academic Board before being offered to students please see the Coursework Scholarships and Prizes policy for details.
Draft guidelines/criteria for new scholarships should be forwarded to the Scholarships Officer for review and comment before final submission to the Academic Board.
Prizes and Awards
SAS calls for nominations for prizes and awards each year following the availability of all academic results and schools have nominations approved by their school board. This information is reported to division offices and the Academic Board for noting. A list is supplied to SAS by early March to be recorded against the student record in Medici prior to generation of transcripts for graduations.
