Student Grants

Have you come up with a fantastic idea that would enrich the student experience at UniSA? Apply now for a Student Experience Grant – you could find yourself with up to $2500 to develop your concept.

Student Experience Grants

Two different Student Experience Grants are available: activity and equipment grants. For all the details take a look at the Student Experience Grant Information Booklet (PDF 3502kb)


Activity Grant

Activity Grants support the delivery of initiatives that will enhance campus vibrancy, student leadership, employability and student engagement with UniSA. Activity Grants can be applied for by students involved in USASA and UniSA Sport Clubs and School or Unit supported Student Clubs and Groups. UniSA Staff may also apply on behalf of Divisions, Schools and Units of UniSA to assist with the delivery of student-focussed initiatives.

Following feedback from staff, staff-led Activity Grant applications may apply for up to $2,500 to contribute to the cost of a Graduate Intern to assist with the planning, coordination and evaluation of a student engagement activity. Graduate Interns must be current (near-completed) students or recent UniSA graduates and coordinated through the UniSA Career Services Intern Program.

This grant category will have three application rounds:

Round 1 - Applications close: 29 April 2016

Round 2 - Applications close: 29 July 2016

Round 3 - Applications close: 14 October 2016

Equipment Grant

Equipment Grants are offered to student clubs and societies that are looking to purchase equipment to assist with the delivery of student-focussed, club-based activities. Equipment Grants are only available to students – staff wishing to apply for this category should seek to collaborate with a student club to ensure their initiative is eligible.

Maximum Grant Amount: $1000

This grant category will have three application rounds:

Round 1 - Applications close: 29 April 2016

Round 2 - Applications close: 29 July 2016

Round 3 - Applications close: 14 October 2016

UniSA Sport Grants

UniSA Sport has a range of grants available for student sport and recreational clubs, as well as individual grants that are available to students selected in national representative teams, World Uni Games/Championship teams and elite student athletes wanting to participate in the Australian Uni Games.
