The Brain Injury Network (BINSA) Creative and Feature Writing Award
is awarded to a third-year student within the Bachelor of Arts

most outstanding feature article on an aspect of the topic of brain
injury (750 words). The feature article is prepared as a course
requirement and assessed on interviewing, writing and research skills.

The University has established the de Lissa Early Childhood fund to
support a prize to acknowledge the most outstanding undergraduate
student who has completed an early childhood education degree program
(or specialization) in the preceding calendar year and who has also
successfully completed Professional Experience placements in both child
care and preschool settings for children aged between birth and five
years.
The fund has been made possible by the generosity of The de Lissa
Association of Early Childhood Graduates Inc. Following the formal
closure of the Association in 2011, the prize will be named in honor of
Lillian de Lissa and her work in establishing kindergartens and early
childhood teacher education in South Australia.

certificate ($1600 approximate value).
Awarded to the highest achieving student undertaking the fourth year
with honours course in the MBED Junior Primary and Primary program at
UniSA. The highest achieving result will be based on the final grade for
the honours research thesis.

by a panel comprising two members of the staff of the School and two
