Study Abroad Internship Program

The UniSA Study Abroad Internship program offers students the opportunity to work in an Australian company, on real-life projects alongside professionals. Internships are available in a wide variety of areas and will be available to students who are studying a UniSA Study Abroad programs for six or twelve months.internship students

Internship Opportunities

Internships are offered in a variety of areas including:
 
Accounting, Engineering, IT, Finance, Human Resource Management, Logistics, Graphic Design, Marketing & Communications, Environmental Science, Event Management, Not for Profit and Business Administration.

Duration

Internships are approximately four weeks in duration for 20 hours a week and are usually taken at the end of the Study Abroad program or taken concurrently within your academic study plan. Your internship can also be taken as credit if your home institution approves. 

Fees

6 month $9,850 includes:
Study Abroad Tuition Fee for 4 courses $8,600 (GST inc) & Internship Fee of $1,250 (GST inc)

12 month $18,450 includes:
Study Abroad Tuition Fee for 8 courses $17,200 (GST inc) & Internship Fee of $1,250 (GST inc)

The Application Process


Step 1:
Download and complete the Internship Placement Application Form (PDF 802kb)
 
Step 2:
Apply to UniSA for your study abroad program

Step 3:
Email your completed Internship Placement application from to international.students@unisa.edu.au

Step 4:
UniSA will advise you of your acceptance into a UniSA program as well as the Internship placement

Step 5:
Make your tuition and internship payment as per your offer letter

Adding an internship to your study abroad semester will give you the edge in your career once you graduate from your home institution.
