UniSANews wins excellence award

UniSANews team with the Vice Chancellor. The awards aim to recognise achievement through the establishment of an environment of shared success and commitment.

The UniSANews team won a Working Smarter/Getting Results award. Other Prof. Denise Bradley with the AUQA support teamwinners in the team category included the ISO Quality Team (for Working Smarter/Getting Results), the International Space University Summer Session Program 2004 Project Team (for Building Bridges), and the AUQA Audit Support Team (for Providing Quality Service).

Winners in the individual category include Sue Mikilewicz (for Leading Change), Ann Samra (for providing Quality Service), and Corinne Stone (for Building Bridges).

Meanwhile, UniSA's inaugural Equity Awards were presented in late 2004. Prof. Denise Bradley and Sue MikilewiczThe awards were established to encourage and reward outstanding efforts in support of the University's equity objectives, and promote good practice and innovation in implementing equity.

The individual winner was Freya Higgins-Desbiolles, while team awards were presented to the Diploma in University Studies and the UniSA Preparation Program for Adult Learners Team, and the UniSA/Smith Family Steering Group.
